DESCRIPTION

PRESTOCEM ECO Eco-friendly mortar, thixotropic, with rapid-setting and ultra-rapid hardening properties, suitable for high-strength fixings, ideal for GreenBuilding. Recyclable as inert material at the end of its life. Prestocem Eco is ideal for high-strength fixing of railings, fixtures, shelves, hinges, sanitary ware, ducts, and electrical installation boxes.

Indoor and outdoor use on cellular concrete blocks and panels, thermal bricks, concrete, cement screeds, traditional brickwork, mixed-age brickwork. Do not use on plaster or anhydrite substrates; non-absorbent substrates such as old ceramic floors, tiles, smooth concrete, plastic materials, wood, metals; substrates prone to movement.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation The substrate must be compact and clean, free from dust and greasiness. Any friable or imperfectly anchored parts, such as lime, cement, or paint residues, must be removed without fail. Smooth surfaces should be properly roughened. Absorbent substrates must be wetted with water until saturated.

Preparation Prestocem Eco is prepared by mixing 25 kg of powder with about 5.3 liters of clean water. The mixture is obtained by pouring the water into a clean container and gradually adding the powder. Mix quickly by hand or with a low-speed mechanical mixer until a homogeneous and lump-free mortar is obtained. Prepare limited quantities, considering the short working time.

Application Application is done with a trowel or an American spatula, quickly and within the setting time. Once the object is fixed, finish the surface with a trowel or a float. Do not make adjustments after hardening has begun. To fill large cavities, it is advisable to work in successive stages, allowing hardening between each application. For plugging leaks and minor water seepage, widen the point of rupture, if necessary; apply the mortar deeply and press firmly until it hardens.

Cleaning To remove Prestocem Eco residues from tools and other surfaces, simply wash with water before final hardening.
